Industrial intelligence has become the strategic direction for the future global industrial upgrading and transformation

"Digitalization, intelligence, and greening" have become the main theme of global economic development, and are also important directions for the transformation and upgrading of industries such as manufacturing, electricity, oil and gas, and mining. Looking around the world, major industrial countries in Europe and the United States have issued national top-level strategies to accelerate the transformation of industrial intelligence, strengthen industrial core competitiveness, and build new competitive advantages. Mining industry has entered a new process of intelligent development

As an important part of the industry, the mining industry occupies an important position in my country's industry, and as a pioneer of industrial intelligence, it plays a leading role. "Rich in coal, poor in oil, and little gas" is the characteristic of my country's resources. Coal production accounts for more than 85% of the total mining of mineral resources. In 2023, my country's raw coal production will be 4.71 billion tons, coal consumption will increase by 5.6%, and coal consumption will account for 55.3% of total energy consumption. Coal resources are mature, reliable and cheap, which determines that coal is the pillar of my country's energy system. The coal mining industry is a special high-risk industry with complex production environment, diverse operation scenarios, heavy equipment assets, rich knowledge and experience, etc. In particular, the production process faces five major disasters: water, fire, roof, gas and coal dust, and the pressure of safe production is high.

The mining industry has gone through four stages on the road to improving efficiency, increasing safety and less manpower: mechanization, automation, informatization and intelligence.

Stage 1: Mechanization

Mine mechanization refers to the use of various mechanical equipment to operate in the process of mine production, through control electrification, and manual decision-making and execution, gradually improving the efficiency and safety of mine production, and reducing labor intensity and cost.

Stage 2: Automation

Mine automation is to realize the automated control and management of mine production through the application of automation technology on the basis of mine mechanization. The basic elements of mine automation include multi-machine linkage, mechatronics, etc., so as to improve production efficiency and safety.

Phase 3: Informatization

Mining informatization refers to the digitalization, networking, and intelligent transformation of various links such as mining production, management, and decision-making through the application of information technology, including the collection, transmission, processing, analysis, and application of production information. The application of mining informatization can realize real-time monitoring, remote control, and automated scheduling of the production process, while improving production efficiency and reducing production costs, and promoting the sustainable development of mining production.

Phase 4: Intelligence

Mining intelligence is based on mining automation and informatization, and through the application of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and cloud computing, it realizes intelligent control and management, intelligent analysis, intelligent decision-making, active prevention, and predictive maintenance of mining production, further improving production efficiency, reducing production costs, and improving safety, and promoting the intelligent transformation of mining production.
